“Bad Mommy” Confessions @WorkingMother

I imagine this. One of my sons, now all grown up, is talking to his therapist, saying, “The thing I remember most about my mom is her sitting at her computer and snarling “I’m in the middle of a sentence” when I interrupted her.”

I worry about this, but obviously not enough, because I have neither stopped writing nor snarling when interrupted.

A long time ago, my older son (who’s now 14) said to me while I was getting ready to go out to dinner with friends, “I don’t like it when you go out.”
